    Ability to Benefit (ATB) Testing

    Schedule your Ability to Benefit (ATB) test at the Hostos Testing Center. The ATB test is required for students seeking TAP financial aid eligibility and evaluates your skills in Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic.

    All tests are administered in person at our Testing Center. Select an available date and time below to reserve your testing appointment.

    📊 Required Passing Scores for TAP Eligibility

    To qualify for TAP financial aid, you must achieve these minimum scores:

    • Reading: 233 or higher
    • Writing: 235 or higher
    • Arithmetic: 230 or higher

    What to Expect

    The ATB test is a comprehensive assessment that takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. You will be evaluated on your reading comprehension, writing skills, and arithmetic abilities.
